So there was the Singapore Marathon 2006 by Standard Chartered yesterday, and volunteering was fun! Had the class over at my house on Saturday night. Fried rice, Peking Duck pizza from California Pizza Kitchen, mahjong, orientation mass dance, Kiku's belated birthday celebration. We left my house at about 12 plus midnight, and took the night rider service and only to realise after waiting at the bus stop outside Tangs for nearly an hour, that the transfer buses all were not operating that day due to the marathon. So, cab, we go.
Waited around at the Padang, admiring the view we had of the rooms of Swissotel that were still bright with lights at 4am. Jam-packed action? Haha. We were all sent to East Coast for race marshall duty and cheered the runners on. About 23kilometres in 1h20min, FREAKING FAST!
Had dinner with my family in the evening, and yeah, I like family dinners. And I had about 12 hours of sleep after that.
Anyway, ah, am really so sorry that I said it out, and that I can't go.
Damn, I really need to get started on my work.
And, and I think I've been on the High School Musical craze for the past week. I've watched it a few times, and I actually bought the soundtrack, and it's on repeat on my itunes and ipod. Haha.
