itunes: what goes around.../...comes around interlude by justin timberlake

'Current developments in technology and medicine promise to be the solution to all human ills.' Do you agree?

Okay, so this was basically the discussion topic that we had, among a few of us in the class today, for our GP essay that we had to write at the end of the day. And while writing the essay, there were those few coincidences, that freaked me out a little. With Claire asking me when the Industrial Revolution was, when the next word I was going to write, was just that.

After school, was the flea market, at the NUS library forum, where I got a silky notebook, and there was the milo van too. We braved the rain, to get to Mr. Prata at Clementi, and the TISSUE PRATA was good. So I admit, I haven't spent much time with the bowling girls, but well, today made me much happier, than I've been the past few days or so.

We were squeezing in the Passport photo machine at the corner of the library forum area, and I guess people were wondering what four girls in uniform were doing, in that small booth. So here's the product anyway.

itunes: all good things (come to an end) by nelly furtado

It's because I don't like the new blogger, that's my excuse for not updating.

Okay, I'm kidding. Seriously, was just really in the "not-blogging" mood, for the past week or so, even till now. But I was thinking, if it continues, and I don't push myself, this blog will soon grow into the state of the other blogs that I'm still holding on to.

Half day after school, was out to watch The Protege, and well, it's been the best movie I've watched this year, so far. LOUIS KOO, and DANIEL WU, what could have been better than that? Haha.

The Chinese New Year. Had the usual reunion steamboat dinner at home, and I think I was lazing around at home, probably online (appearing offline), and don't know what else. Oh, I know, watching the pre-recorded CNY variety show that was showing for seven hours, 'cause well, it was 5566 after all. Haha. And I watched till 2 am plus.

The first day started late, with just one house to visit, and the family went for a movie at Lido, which I have no comments about. Purely, cause the movie was far from comparison of The Protege. Late dinner/supper at The Line and back home for the next day to come.

The second, it was Wonder's birthday, had a short celebration in town, and in the night, had almost the whole bowling team at my house, for twentyone, apeach, and the usual. The morning started with twentyone too, and led on for about five hours more, into the noon. Popped by at the class' visiting, a movie, and back home for Math tuition. Yes, anti-climax.

And it's been schoool, and trainings, and more bowling. And it shall continue to be so. Oh well, till then.

FOB's THIS SATURDAY, anyway.

Honestly what will become of me
I don't like reality
It's way too clear to me
But really life is daily
We are what we don't see
We missed everything daydreaming

Flames to dust
Lovers to friends
Why do all good things come to an end

I promise, a update of the past week, the CNY weekend, I hope.

itunes: memory (acoustic) by sugarcult

Okay, it seemed more like a gift-exchanging session in school, somehow it reminds me of Christmas. But still, we all had a great day in school. I hope, well, I did, after all, though by the end of the day, I was feeling really drowsy and sick.

Thanks, to every single flower, sweets, candies, chocolates, cookies, notes, and etc, I really, really appreciate it. Hope you all liked the cupcakes. =)

So after school, I had a impromptu date, with the doctor. No, don't laugh. And I've got an MC for tomorrow, but it seems like I'll still go to school, all for the sake of my beloved Organic Chemistry test, which, I'm only one-third done, at this point of time.

Never mind, since I've had quite a good Valentine's day after all, even up till this last minute.

hugs to all!
=)

This may never start.
We could fall apart.
And I'd be your memory.
Lost your sense of fear.
Feelings insincere.
Can I be your memory?

So get back, back, back to where we lasted.
Just like I imagine.
I could never feel this way.
So get back, back, back to the disaster.
My heart's beating faster.
Holding on to feel the same.

This may never start.
I'll tear us apart.
Can I be your enemy?
Losing half a year.
Waiting for you here
I'd be your anything.

So get back, back, back to where we lasted.
Just like I imagine.
I could never feel this way.
So get back, back, back to the disaster.
My heart's beating faster.
Holding on to feel the same.

This may never start.
Tearing out my heart.
I'd be your memory.
Lost your sense of fear.
(I'd be your memory)
Feelings disappeared.
Can I be your memory?

So get back, back, back to where we lasted.
Just like I imagine.
I could never feel this way.
So get back, back, back to the disaster.
My heart's beating faster.
Holding on to feel the same.

itunes: screaming infidelities by dashboard confessional

February fourteenth, Happy Valentine's Day =).

Well, I'll always remember this date, 13th February, much more than the V day. It was one hell of a night, back then, a year ago. Let's just say, it was the beginning of the bad things that had happened since then. But anyway, it's been a year, so probably, I should just leave it, not like I can do anything about it right now, but damn, I was quite silly. Haha.

I've got a feeling that I'm falling ill though, and the weekend is approaching. Argh. And I can't help but say this, the ulcers are causing lots and lots of pain.

And I don't like this entry, the way I type.

Okay, goodnight.

itunes: famous last words by my chemical romance

I wanted to type this entry earlier, probably yesterday, but well, it wouldn't make that much a difference.

Since yesterday was the 10th of February, and 'cause I've got a good memory (I think so, at least), it marks the exact one year of having collected the O Level results. Okay, no big deal, but I can't help it that I remember that. Basically, it's cause it was one of the best days I'd have in year 2006. =)

I remember that I didn't go to school that morning, (it's one of the rare times that I don't go to school anyway). I met the old tuition buddy, Roy, for a little Val's shopping that morning at Taka. We were walking around finding things to buy, and I decided on the Armani Code, it's a cologne btw. The sales guy was like "You all are J1s right, from ACJC?". And I stupidly went "how did you know?". Obviously, cause we were wearing our secondary school uniforms, and had the ACS badge pinned on, (though it didn't really apply for tuition bud). Haha, and after a little talking here and there, I discovered that the sales guy was none other than my older brother's friend, okay, good friend, Andre. And he was invited to attend my dad's company dinner that night too! Pure coincidence. And we were even planning to just talk that night, and leave my bro wondering how we knew each other.

Okay, so we had lunch at Crystal Jade and Mikhail joined us there. I remember the both of them basically causing me to laugh throughout the meal, and choking on food, talking about chicken mcnugget.

We went back to our own secondary schools, and yeah, the results, and so on. I'll always remember crying for Clara, when her name was announced by the school, for being one of the most improved student. So I was the second to receive the results, and it didn't exactly feel that good, to have scored the same as for prelims, especially with the disappointment in my English back then. But well, it's been a year after all.

So after all the commotion and stuff, was at Paragon, The Hair Shop and did my hair and stuff for the dinner that night. And since it was still early, I met up with the tuition bud and chicken mcnugget Mikhail again, and talked crap at Bakerzin. There was this old couple sitting next to us, and the man was telling us about results, seeing that we had just gotten our results back then. And seriously, he went on and on, but he did inspire us, really. We were playing with the chocolate fondue, mixing it with Evian water and then one had to leave.

Changed out and everything, and waited for who and stuff to get to Trader's Hotel. It took half an hour and more for the cab to get from Paragon to Trader's! Thinking about it now, it was a little weird in the cab then.

We had fun at the dinner, our own table fun. That's 'cause the whole table were made up of our own friends. My older bro had Steven, and Andre; Brent had Nic, and I invited Wonder, Julian and Roy. Seriously, I would give anything to have the company of the table back again!

And it was after the dinner, that I had the first time bounced out of a club. Okay, not funny, but yeah, just hang around Clarke Quay that night and it was fun enough, since it was the first time I've stayed out that late anyway.

I don't know why lah, but I just felt like typing that whole day of event out. I've realised that I've never had any entry of a day with so much details typed out. Arh, this is enough, don't exactly like long entries of the activities of each day. And here's the photos.

itunes: this ain't a scene, it's an arms race by fall out boy

Ah, I just woke up, from my sleepnap.

It ain't really good, cause it's been like that for the past few days, and the past two weeks too, I think. Must be the cross-country, on Wednesday. Okay, and for reasons that I cannot figure out why, for the past few days. Maybe, it's just the lessons everday. Rarrr.

I'll go pack my bag, and then continue nappingsleeping.
Or maybe, I'll just stick around online, for a while more. Haha.

Good luck to all, for the O Level results tomorrow. =)

FOB AH!

itunes: this ain't a scene, it's an arms race by fall out boy

Arh, Infinity On High is out, at least in U.S., and on itunes store. But I don't have enough money in itunes to get it. And I don't know if I should get the U.S. version of the album or what. Plus, FOB's going to be here on 3rd March. I've been going on and on about this for the past one week, ever since I knew about it. And it's sad that I can't go, have been hoping for them to play here but sigh, not this time, I guess.

goodnight =(

itunes: here (in your arms) by hellogoodbye

The video is erm, for entertainment sake, I guess. Haha, it's funny and stupid. But the song's really quite catchy, and yeah, the lyrics. =)

i like where we are
when we drive in your car
i like where we are
here

'cause our lips can touch
and our cheeks can brush
our lips can touch
here

where you are the one, the one that lies close to me
whispers, "hello, i've missed you quite terribly"
i fell in love, in love with you suddenly
now there's no place else i can be but here in your arms

i like where you sleep
when you sleep next to me
i like where you sleep
here

'cause our lips can touch
and our cheeks can brush
our lips can touch
here

where you are the one, the one that lies close to me
whispers, "hello, i've missed you quite terribly"
i fell in love, in love with you suddenly
now there's no place else i can be but here in your arms

our lips, can touch
our lips, can touch...here

you are the one the one that lies close to me
whispers, "hello, i've missed you quite terribly"
i fell in love, in love with you suddenly
now there's no place else i could be but here in your arms

you are the one the one that lies close to me
whispers, "hello, i've missed you, i've missed you"
i fell in love, in love with you suddenly
now there's no place else i could be but here in your arms

here in your arms.
here in your arms.
